Gary is the Sales Director for Image Evolution and since his move from engineering to sales in the mid nineties, has been totally focussed on providing a varying range of digital solutions for his customers. More specifically for the last 10 years, in the area of digital print. Having initially worked for Indigo (now HP Indigo) selling Indigo digital presses, he then became one of the directors for Image Evolution at its birth in 2002. Gary is now totally focussed on the sales requirement for Image Evolution and is always on the lookout for new and challenging solutions to work on with his customers. During his time off, he can always be found on the cricket pitch but whatever you do, don’t ask him how the weekend game went unless you have a couple of hours to spare!
Paul has worked in the printing industry since the age of 14 when he worked after school and weekends in a high street quick print shop. He soon got the bug for printing and, on leaving school, became a trainee printer. He became a very competent press operator at a young age. Due to his keen interest in the industry, Paul moved into other areas of the trade and worked in artwork / design departments and print finishing whilst always keeping a hand in with the printing itself. Eventually and inevitably he moved into Production Management where he was able to bring together the array of skills he had developed through his career thus far. In his role of Production Director at Image Evolution, Paul takes great pride in the quality of the work we produce. He ensures that, come what may, deadlines are always met with the minimum of fuss. Outside of work Paul is a keen amateur photographer.
Paul started his training in the print industry after leaving school at the age of 16 with a large print firm producing everything from envelopes to supersite posters through to case binding. Attending the London College of Print he achieved several qualifications and realising his forte was working with figures he decided to specialise in estimating. Gaining several years experience he naturally advanced into management, becoming Commercial Manager and then Director. When setting up Image Evolution with his two partners he enjoyed a short period of manufacturing including training and running the HP Press. This has given him an excellent insight into the digital production process. Now specialising in the commercial area of the business he still enjoys assisting in the factory when the pressure is on. After a busy day at work he enjoys DIY, walking his dog and working in his garden.
Having started her working life as a machine operator at her local college Laura moved to a specialist digital printing company where she gained experience in all areas of the business, including production and the digital print process. She eventually settled within the sales admin/customer service team which makes her ideally suited to our Customer Services role. So now with 13 years of printing knowledge behind her you can be confident that Laura will be able to help with your enquiry. Whatever your question, whether it is a quote enquiry, production schedules or even just general advice, Laura will be happy to help. As a self confessed cake-a-holic you could easily find your way into her heart, but unlike Paul, she hates DIY and would much rather spend her time out in the garden with a glass of wine.
